Serving The Community
The Mountain Republicans Club has been part of this community for many years, working tirelessly to make it a better place.
United By A Common Goal
The Mountain Republicans Club knows the value of being connected. That's why we're working to organize. Help us help you.
Get Involved
The Mountain Republicans Club can't accomplish our goals without your help. Word-of-mouth, bringing friends, and donating are all ways of helping us achieve our goals together.

Fight Local...Win National
We welcome you to our active, friendly and involved Republicans Club in the foothills of the Rockies.
We strive to inform and involve our members in the political process as well as educating ourselves on topics and issues pertinent to our families, our state and our country.
Many of our members support education reform by attending and speaking at Jefferson County School Board meetings. As 2024 is an important election year, we invite Republican candidates as well as speakers on ballot issues to our monthly meetings so our members are well informed. We encourage each other to become involved in the election process by volunteering at Jefferson County Elections and/or Republican headquarters, or on a campaign.
We want to grow our Club to help more people know how they can become involved to save our Republic. We warmly invite you and your friends to attend one of our meetings as a first step. Please contact any of our MRC officers with questions. We look forward to meeting you!

John Brooks Republican Candidate for Governor
John Brooks began his career in high school, pioneering computerized dairy farming that boosted production by 30% and enabled early electronic disease detection. After graduating from the University of Colorado and serving in the military reserves, he spent nearly two decades in emergency services, advancing to Chief and Director roles.
He introduced System Status Management and smart analytics that improved emergency response times by 49% and transformed his public agency into a self-sustaining enterprise.
For the past 25 years, John has led global data technology initiatives, helping start-ups grow to $100M in revenue, building partnerships with 300 telecom carriers, and working across 85 countries. His expertise spans data integrity, lifecycle management, analytics, and Smart City innovation.
A lifelong Coloradan, John is known for his global perspective and dedication to state and community competitiveness. Today, he serves as an independent Smart Cities consultant and Global Thought Leader for Regional Communities, focusing on solutions like Digitally Integrated Public Ecosystems to support smaller communities facing digital and urban challenges.
Robert Moore Republican Candidate for Governor
Colorado is at a crossroads. My priorities are clear: reduce crime, cut taxes, strengthen businesses, and build an economy that works for everyone. That means lowering the cost of living for hardworking Coloradans, eliminating burdensome regulations that crush small businesses, protecting our Second Amendment rights, and reinforcing the rights of individuals and families to own, use, and expand their property—including supporting our agricultural communities.
The far-left majority in the Colorado Legislature has taken our state in the wrong direction. Their endless taxes, fees, and regulations are suffocating families and businesses. According to a University of Colorado report from December of last year, our once-thriving economy has fallen from the 5th strongest in the nation to 41st. Colorado is now the 6th most over-regulated state for businesses. That’s not an accident—that’s the direct result of policy choices.
Barbara Kirkmeyer Republican Candidate for Governor
State Senator, and Weld County Commissioner, Barb has a proven record of delivering results for her community.
In her first year as a state senator, Barb passed 17 bills to promote economic and personal freedom and improve Coloradans’ safety, in spite of the Democrats’ advantage in the chamber. She was acknowledged by Colorado Politics as a notable legislator who“ debated like a statehouse veteran, not a first-year back bencher.” Senator Kirkmeyer currently serves on the Joint Budget Committee.
As a Weld County Commissioner, Kirkmeyer pursued a strong conservative agenda, leaving Weld County as Colorado’s only large, debt-free county. She helped coordinate an effort to make Weld County a Second Amendment sanctuary from liberal assaults on gun rights, and she also helped lead the effort to secure funding to expand I-25 north to Fort Collins.
